When you have more than 25 photos, it takes a while to get through every photo.
You want to tease your guests (like your top competitors in your city) and make them want to come to see the rest of your home!
Draw customers’ attention by revealing just enough about the home to pique their interest, but not too much. In that way, they’ll want to see more of it!
Under promise, over deliver
When you’re looking to buy a car, what’s the difference between how your favorite car company advertises their minivans versus their coupes?
The answer is NOT THE SAME AT ALL.
Why?
The customer buying a minivan most likely has a family versus someone who buys a two-door coupe.
This is why you need to make sure you’re speaking to your ideal guest, in that way you’ll be saving time while having an 80% probability that you’ll get that favored guest!
When you’re speaking to everyone, you speak to no one. 🙅🏽♀️
I’ve spoken to SO many guests and although half of them don’t know what a carbon monoxide detector is, they still don’t want to book your property if you don’t have one.
Why?
Airbnb crosses out the amenities that you lack in your listing and psychologically, your potential guests feel like they are not getting something that they feel they should have.
They feel like they’re getting less too!
We want to make them feel that we care about their safety and that we apply AirBnB’s slogan which is “your safety is our priority”.
This is why you need to have a carbon monoxide detector if you don’t have one already.
They’re like $25 on amazon!
We’ve had this talk many times.
Make sure you’re using “you” and “your” in your description so potential guests can see themselves on your property!
We want to have a connection with our guests and it starts with making them feel that we are focused on them so that they will consider the fact that our service brought an impact on their lives.
We should keep in mind that it’s not about us, it’s about our guests— writing copy that speaks “to” your target audience rather than “at” them is important.
My DRAPED BnB Listing framework covers the base of your ENTIRE listing.
Numbers 1-4 are just a few things that I help you with when helping you prepare your listing to be booked by potential guests! 🎉
Now, if you’re tired of all the tips you get online and you aren’t seeing any real changes, then you need me to look over your listing to see exactly why people are clicking on your listing but not booking.
